Global Privacy Control. We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of advertising-related "sharing"/"sale." If you enable GPC in a supported browser or extension, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser.
Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you block cookies, parts of the site may not work properly and your preferences may not be remembered.
Industry opt-outs. For interest-based advertising, you can also use the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and, in Europe, the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (youronlinechoices.eu). These opt-outs are device- and browser-specific.
5. What is our legal basis, and how does it vary by region?
In Short: Opt-in consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland; notice with an opt-out in the United States.
In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we set non-essential cookies only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules (including the UK PECR); strictly necessary cookies are exempt. In the United States, we provide notice and, for advertising cookies, treat their use for cross-context behavioral advertising as a "share" (and, under some laws, a "sale") under the CCPA and comparable state laws, which you may opt out of. We detect your approximate location and apply the appropriate rules, so the banner and choices you see depend on your location and applicable law.
6. Do you use other tracking technologies?
In Short: Yes — pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies, treated the same as cookies.
In addition to cookies, we may use web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"), tags, SDKs, and local storage. These help us, for example, count users who have visited pages or opened an email, and support analytics and advertising. We treat these technologies the same way as cookies under this Cookie Policy, and your choices apply to them.
7. Do you serve targeted advertising?
In Short: Yes — and you can opt out, including via the Global Privacy Control.
Third parties may serve cookies on your device to deliver advertising tailored to your interests, on our Website and on other sites. Using these advertising cookies is treated as a "share" (and, under some US state laws, a "sale") of certain identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out through our preference center, the Global Privacy Control, or the industry tools above.
8. Do you respond to do-not-track signals?
In Short: We do not respond to DNT signals, but we do honor the Global Privacy Control.
Because there is no common industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring "Do-Not-Track" (DNT) browser signals, we do not respond to them at this time. We do, however, recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control as described above.
